Cisco Internetworking Expert Routing and Switching Workshop 1 is a five day ILT

class designed to be attended during the initial stage of a learner's CCIE

preparation effort. The course is approximately 60% lecture and 40% hands-on lab

exercises. The course focuses on core technologies encountered in the Routing

and Switching CCIE lab. This includes: Frame-Relay, Catalyst 3550 / 35060,

IGP's, Redistribution, BGP, Multicast, IPv6, Router QoS and Catalyst QoS. Not

only will these topics be covered, the student will also be completely immersed in

the learning and problem solving approach known as "issue spotting and options

analysis". Two highlights of the course are students performing two graded

assessments labs - one on the first day of class and one on the last day of class.

PreRequisites: 

CCIE R&S Written Exam. The CIERS-1 class is recommended for all Routing and

Switching CCIE candidates and senior engineers
