This course includes lectures and hands-on labs for a practical experience to install and configure ProxySG appliances, develop granular policies with the Visual Policy Manager (VPM), and utilise logging and the Reporter product.
PreRequisites:
Delegates should have:
- A good working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, DNS, network environments with firewalls.
- A working knowledge of routing, bridging, & switching.
- A good understanding of web servers and services using http, https, & ftp.
- Familiarity with the network environment where the Blue Coat Proxy Appliance will be deployed.

The course is intended for networking professionals new to Blue Coat appliances, Security Auditors and Architects, Systems Engineers and Post-Sale Support Technicians.
