Web Design using Adobe Dreamweaver
An effective website is central to the marketing and operations of any organisation.
This course teaches you the basics of web design and maintenance using Adobe
Dreamweaver and will give you the confidence to take on website development or
update projects; including uploading your site onto the web.
Individuals who prepare or update web pages, public websites or intranets. A working
knowledge of Windows is required. No experience of Dreamweaver is required.
At the end of this course, delegate will get out of it:
- Skills to follow a project through from an initial idea to the creation and publishing
processes
- Increased traffic to your site
- A good working knowledge of the basic functionality of Dreamweaver
At the end of this course you will have a basic working knowledge of how to use
features of DreamWeaver CS3 to create and modify web pages. You'll be able to
enhance your web pages by inserting multimedia items such as videos and flash
animations. You will learn to work with and organise your site files by using the site
panel. Finally you will be shown how to upload your site on to the web using
DreamWeaver.
As this course is designed to introduce you to features of the DreamWeaver
application, this course does not cover other technologies that are used at the 'back
end' of web sites, such as databases, PHP, ASP, Java Scripting.
